Both in the case of fresh water and in the case of sea water. Many factors can cause oscillations or sudden variations. Waters with a high level of carbonate hardness are more stable at changes in pH. Concentration should never fall below 3 ° dKH levels in freshwater aquariums and 8 ° dKH in marine aquariums. Since the metabolism of plants consumes carbon and so also the bacterial metabolism, over time there is a progressive reduction of carbonate hardness. Équo created STABILO KH +   PLANTÆ & DISCUS,a mixture of alkalis that do not contain the sodium ion: its dosage allows to correct the carbonate hardness and the pH, without adding sodium to the water of your aquarium. It is recommended in all those situations where the presence of sodium is not recommended: very rich aquariums of plants and tanks with Discus.

DOSAGE

Dissolving a 5 ml / cc scoop in 50l of osmosis water increases the carbonate hardness by about 5 degrees.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Avoid dissolving the salt directly in the aquarium. Take 500 ml of water from the aquarium and dissolve the amount of salt needed. Pour the so obtained solution slowly into the pump compartment. Never pour it into the filter compartment. Do not increase more than 2 ° dKH within 24 hours. Because in aquariums containing carbon dioxide and other saline solutions, there may be a 2 ° dKH waste, It is advisable to start with half the dose, then check the carbonate hardness after one hour with the appropriate KH test.
