The CUV-8110 is designed to be placed outside the pond and the water is pumped through it. The water passes by the UV-C lamp, which destroys bacteria and algae. The stainless steel housing helps to increase the sterilizing effect and protect the lamp. The unit also includes universal hose connections.
Description
The UVC pre-clarifier keeps your pond water clean.
Bacteria, germs and cloudiness no longer stand a chance thanks to UV radiation.
Bound, the bacteria useful for cleaning are not detected by radiation.
A quick release allows for easy lamp changes and cleaning of the quartz glass.
The ultraviolet sterilizer eliminates algae from the water; UV sterilization, in fact, affects the tertiary and quaternary structures of the algae proteins, which are thus destroyed and then removed from the water through mechanical filtration.
The CUV-8 series sterilizers are made of high-strength steel which increases both sterilization capacity and resistance to water pressure (up to 1 bar)
